her height and build." and how obesity is caused, "The accumulation of fat is caused by the consumption of more food than is required for producing enough energy for daily activities." and also that "obesity is the most common nutritional disorder of recent years."
Obesity is the most common nutritional disorder in affluent societies. Its significance requires constant emphasis because it is associated with increased mortality, predisposes to the development of important diseases and diminishes the efficiency and happiness of those affected" and also that "obesity may be defined as a condition in which there is an excessive amount of body fat. This simple definition gives rise to two questions: how can body fat be measured and what is excessive ?"

Conclusions:

2. Fat accumulates in the subcutaneous tissues.

3. A person is obese when he / she weighs 20% above therecommended weight (in relation to his / her height andbuild).

4. Fat accumulation is caused by excessive intake of food ascompared to depleted energy expenses.

5. It (obesity) is a most common nutritional disorder moreparticularly of the elite class.

6. It is associated with increased mortality (higher death rate).
